This week's Story Card is perfect to use in a pocket-style scrapbook page. And like all the Story Cards we feature on Story Card Sunday, this one would also look great on a traditional scrapbook page. If you are a card maker, just change out the sentiment to something more card-friendly.
Want to make a Story Card like this one? Let me show you how.
You should first cut a base card with our Story Card DIY Steel Die.
Now, cut three frames from three different colors of cardstock with our Cool Tab Card DIY Steel
(Fun fact: It's one of our current top-sellers!)
Take one of the frames and set the "row of stars" die (included with the Cool Tab Card die) onto the tab. Use a little decorative tape or Painter's tape to hold it in place and then run it through your die-cutting machine.
You'll get something like this. If the stars remain in the tab, use a piercing tool (or straight pin) to poke them out.
Arrange all three of the frames onto your base card. Don't be afraid to turn them over and rotate them so they aren't all facing the same direction.
Adhere the frames to the base card. Snip off any excess paper with your scissors.
Finish the card off by adding a few epoxy dots (or gems) and a sentiment.
The words I used are from Technique Tuesday's No Picture stamp set.
And here again is the final result!
